Color - Overview
Color has significant influence over emotional experiences and has the power to become iconic in itself.
The color palette of a visual identity system sets the tone for all applications of that system. It is a means by which a company can associate itself with certain mind sets or characteristics. As with other brand elements, color must be used consistently in order to build a recognizable and memorable brand image.
The Novozymes colors are broken into two palettes, Brand Colors and Secondary Colors, each serving a specific communication purpose.
Tthe Brand Color palette illustrates Novozymes’ impact on today.
The Secondary Color palette provides a wide range of options to communicate Novozymes’ sustainable offerings (Natural Colors) and unique brand personality (Touch Colors).
All palettes are designed so that colors may be interchangeable and easily combined without potential of clashing, and a color wheel was created to define appropriate color ratios. The following section provides this color wheel, an explanation of the meaning behind each color palette, and breakdowns and technical guidance for color implementation.
Color system
A conversion system exists for our Primary Colors as well as our Secondary Touch Colors and Natural Colors. If you cannot find a conversion suited for your purpose, please always use the Pantone color swatches as a standard for color matching.
