Color

When selecting color for text be sure there is enough contrast for readability. This guidance maximizes the readability of the Frutiger font family and ensures the proper contrast is given to the various text components of a layout.

White may be applied to typography on a Today colored background.

Light may be applied to typography on a Today colored background.

Today may be applied to typography on a Tomorrow colored background.

Tomorrow may be applied to typography on a white background, however only for large-sized main titles/headlines/callouts. Do not use it on slides for instance, and always consider legibility before using.

Today may be applied to typography
on a white background, also a 60% tint may be used. Used 100% and 60% tints of Today to help separate and create hierarchy within copy. However, note that in printed materials we recommend to use black as default font color for technical reasons.

Any color from the Natural or Touch color palettes may be applied to typography on a white background. If applied to body copy, be sure that the copy is no longer than 3 paragraphs.

Only use white text for Tomorrow backgrounds for large-sized materials, e.g. never for handouts, fact boxes and the like.
