The way we communicate

The way we communicate influences the way we are perceived. We want to ensure that our reputation is a true reflection of the passion and commitment we have for our work.

 

This style guide provides the tools to maintain the integrity of our corporate identity. Since our identity is the visual means by which we distinguish our products and services, it is the essential link to our reputation and it is imperative that it be executed correctly and consistently every time.

 

By using a shared writing style, we ensure that the messages sent to all our stakeholders are consistent, no matter where the communication originates from in the company. However, scientific journals or other publications not produced by Novozymes will have their own style guide, and so text produced for these must follow their guidelines.

 

This Novozymes Style Guide is not intended to be a comprehensive writing guide. Rather, it highlights issues where we need to be consistent in order to communicate effectively.

Novozymes’ Customer Communications department recommends that all documents (including e-mails) destined for external audiences or large internal audiences be proofread before distribution or publication.
